Quantum Field Theory (QFT)

Title

Quantum field theory constitutes a fundamental branch of physics aimed at the unified description of elementary particles and interactions through fields subject to quantum principles.
Its foundation lies in the quantization of continuous fields, where observable excitations are interpreted as particles capable of being created, annihilated and interacting dynamically.
In addition, this discipline deals with the analysis of Feynman diagrams, symmetries, renormalization and high energy processes, which makes it possible to explain a large part of modern microscopic physics.
