Storyboard

One of the problems of traditional learning is that the student at some point gives a test and does not continue working on concepts not yet learned until that event. Therefore it is necessary to give an opportunity to return to work on those issues where the result is still not satisfactory.

The graph shows how the notes and scores of the checklists have evolved over time:

Evolution of Notes

The graph includes:

- Blue points with the notes of closed cases already validated. It does not figure if it is in the process of filming or under review. If it has been objected, figure with the minimum grade. Similarly figure with this note if the validation period has passed and this has not been delivered.

- Curve in blue corresponds to the average grade that cases are reaching. It includes both the validated notes and the minimum notes that would be obtained if non-compliance situations are not regularized.

- Orange points of each evaluated checklist. The scale is on the right side of the graph and goes from -1 to 3 since if all the answers were wrong the score would be -0.75.

- Red curve that shows the average that is carried to date with the checklists. Includes 30% elimination with minor score. In the case of the curve of the checklist, the scale is the note that is shown on the left axis.

- Fuchsia curve showing the final average that is being achieved in which the note is calculated based on 30% of the checklist and 70%.

Opportunities to Recover

Description

>Top

There are always situations in which one fails to finish something on time and asks to be given an additional opportunity. The administration of this type of opportunities is complex since it must be for all equally, as well as not damaging the new tasks that are regularly assigned. Therefore, the system has a mechanism that allows ''win' 'exceptions.

The mechanism requires that the student has done everything in his power to give the possibility of lifting a restriction that prevents him from achieving one of the tasks. That is to say:

- there are no pending cases, ie any case that is open must have been completed and taken to 100%.

- there are no cases with a Joker that has not been finished reaching 100%

- there are no pending validations, that is to say, all the validations have been carried out and there are no objections

If this situation occurs the system allows to reactivate any case that has not been taken to 100% even if it does not have a Joker. In the same way it allows sending Validations after the deadline.

Problems with the System

Description

>Top

In systems of this type there are often specific problems of a particular user. Since the system is the same for everyone, and if several students do not present problems, it can be concluded that the system is functioning normally. In this situation, any breach of deadlines and / or contents can not be attributed 'to the system' and must be assumed as the student's own problem. If the problem is punctual, and sufficient clearances exist, additional terms may be granted, but in no case will reduction of demands on the content be accepted.

Reactivated case with a special Joker

Image

The reactivated case carries a special joker:

Reactive case joker

In the network circulates the legend that this joker corresponds to a tattoo of a biker who died. However, in memory of this, until today we continue using the design. In that sense the joker corresponds to a revived case that still seeks to reach its goal.

Reactivation of a Case

If there is no pending task, ie all cases or
- have been brought to 100% (in a timely manner or via joker eventually after the deadline)
- there are no pending validations (all validated or in the process of being revised)
You can reopen any of the cases that were not completed on time.

To do this, you must mark on the left side what you want to re-activate and proceed to press the 'Activate' button:

Re-Activated a Case

It is recommended to reactivate cases that require little time for their term. Under this situation fall in particular breaches of deadlines in which the sending of videos for review. This is because once a case has been reactivated, the system does not allow another to be reactivated while it has not been brought to its end.

Recommendations Panel

In the user panel there is a first button on the left that indicates the summary and that gives access to the data that summarizes the user's situation.

Control Panel

On the page there are two tables, one with the cases in progress (development or validation) and a recommendation of what should be done.

The second table summarizes the cases that have not been carried out and could be reactivated.
