Conceptual Model

Description

Model M03 - Star Formation in the Interstellar Medium

The conceptual model seeks to understand the mechanisms that give rise to a behavior, and to describe them as simply as possible. To do this, the behavior is segmented into topics (groups): each one identifies the objects or variables involved —both in their normal functioning and in their possible anomalies or deviations— and describes, through verbs, how those objects interact with one another. The result is what we call a semantic network: the structure with which we represent and communicate the conceptual model, before introducing any equation.
