E1.1 Hydraulic Transport
Title
Hydraulic transport constitutes a fundamental plant process focused on the movement of water and solutes from roots to aerial tissues.
Its foundation lies in gradients of water potential, capillarity, water cohesion and transpiration that generate flow within the plant vascular system.
In addition, this discipline deals with the analysis of conductivity, cavitation and internal distribution, which makes it possible to explain nutrition, cooling and growth of the plant.
